“How does the Mentor Program work?”

Joe: First of all, if you’re interested in the Mentor Program, go to the website, ZeroDownInvesting.com and read the materials on it. It’s very detailed. If you print it out, it’s almost 40 pages long; it’s a book that I’ve written on it. It tells what the program is, what’s involved in it and what materials are included.
 
Joe: It talks about the six month process. It talks about the coaching calls with me personally. It talks about the recorded coaching calls. It talks about the email support. It talks about the “Two Day Buying Events” that I have four times a year that you can come to as part of that program. It tells you in detail what all of that is, and it’s worth reading because it’ll give you a really good overview of what’s possible in this business.

Joe: It’s not much of a difficult process. All I have to do is email you some paperwork, you fill it out, fax it back to me and as soon as I get it, I give it to Carolyn, she processes the charges and we get it all taken care of. She sends you the emails with the new download instructions. It tells you when the next call is and sends you out all of the material in the mail that you get. There are a couple of big boxes of material that you get in the mail and she’ll get you going that way. So, it’s not a difficult process to get started; you just need to let me know.
 
Joe: One of the things I require of everybody that gets involved is that they talk to me first. I know I’ve told you on these videos, I’ve told you in the things I’ve written and I’ve told you everywhere else that this is not a get rich quick scheme. This is a business building program. But I like to tell people that in person. I want to hear their answer. I want to hear them say, ‘I understand that. I’m not expecting it to happen without me doing anything. I expect to follow through with this process.’
 
Joe: I don’t want you to waste your money on a program of some pipe dream that you have. This is a real program. It’s a real business. I don’t want you to waste my time and I don’t want you to come into it being negative – I need people that are positive in this process. I’ve talked about the mastermind group I have; all of the people that are in this Mentor Program and how we work together, and how we think of new ways to invest in real estate and take technology to the next level.
 
Joe: A lot of the things that I’ve learned about real estate investing I’ve learned from my students, and I pass that on as we go and I help them tweak it and make it better. I make it so that the next person can use it and the rest of the group can use it. So, in order to do that, we have to have a group of people that are very positive – people that say, ‘Yes, I want to make this happen.’
 
Joe: You don’t have to be a Pollyanna. I’m not asking you to go around with a smile on your face all the time. What I’m asking is that you have a positive attitude about the stuff that you’re doing and that you understand that there are no failures in this process – there are only tests. We’re always testing new things to see if they’re going to work.
 
Joe: Lots of things don’t work. Maybe the majority of things that I try don’t work. Those aren’t failures to me; those are tests. So, the more I test, the sooner I’m going to find a success, something that’s a home run, something that really makes sense.
 
Joe: The things in this Mentor Program that I’m teaching – these are the home runs that have come out of all of the tests that we’ve done. There is a lot of stuff here – you’re not going to be left with nothing to do. There’s going to be a lot of things for you to do. If you want to build your business, you can build it into something really spectacular with this program if you follow through with the things that I teach.
